Christmas movie night

Invite your friends and family around to watch your favourite film and charge an entrance fee or ask for a donation. We have cardboard collection boxes or donation envelopes which you can request from the fundraising team.

Christmas bake sale

Theme your sale and sell Christmas favourites such as mince pies, Christmas cake and yule logs. Or perhaps make and sell Christmas tree shaped biscuits, gingerbread or candy canes.

Christmas quiz

Create a Christmas quiz and each put in a few pounds to play. Instead of the winner taking the prize pot you can donate it to charity.

Hold a Christmas jumper day

You can organise this at your workplace, school or college and ask everyone to donate £1. You could even give a prize to the person
with the best or funniest jumper.

Christmas concert

Are you part of a choir or band? Organise a concert and donate the ticket price or a percentage of sales to us. Or see if you can perform and collect at a Christmas market. Please be aware that you will need to contact the local council if you are holding a public street collection.

Guess the weight of the Christmas cake

Charge people for each guess and the winner gets the cake and a percentage of the funds raised.

Take part in a Santa Dash event

These races can be run or walked and everyone in the family can get involved. Santa Dashes take place across the UK so have a look to see if one is taking place near you. There is a great one taking place in Liverpool on Sunday 3 December. Find out more

Christmas sweepstakes

Ask your friends and family to guess who’ll be Christmas number one this year or who will be crowned king or queen of the jungle. Take a donation of 50p or a £1 for each guess.

Christmas wrapping

Offer to wrap people’s Christmas gifts in exchange for a donation to charity.

Christmas Tree decorating competition

Ask local schools, colleges or businesses to pay an entry fee and decorate a Christmas tree. The tree would be on display in front
of their building or window. The winner would get a prize or a percent of the entry fees with the rest being donated to us. Let people get creative with how they design and decorate their trees. Don’t forget to tag us in any social media posts, as we’d love to see them.
