During our #HuntingtonsInMind awareness month campaign we made a positive connection with the charity, 'Medics 4 Rare Diseases'.

Medics 4 Rare Diseases use their platform to educate healthcare trainees and healthcare professionals about rare disease and any misconceptions about the disease that isn't always learnt from a textbook.

In this podcast, we arranged for Professor Ed Wild to speak with M4RD Founder, Lucy McKay about Huntington's disease, genetics, misconceptions and care pathways. Ed Wild is a Professor of Neurology at University College London, Associate Director of UCL Huntington's Disease Centre, and a Consultant Neurologist at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.

You will also hear from the Huntington's Disease Association about why the #HuntingtonsInMind campaign was so important and the ripple effect that the disease has on families that are affected by it.
