This year's theme is Behind the Gene.

The invisible challenges and untold stories of Huntington’s disease.

This May, we are showing the many faces and many lives behind Huntington's disease.

Too often, people affected by Huntington's disease find themselves educating the public and healthcare professionals about their condition. This month, we will be sharing what the Huntington's community wish people knew.

How can you get involved?

Educating professionals

We are looking for people to take our Huntington's disease factsheets into their local GP, hospitals, care homes or any healthcare setting where there is the opportunity to raise awareness and encourage training around Huntington's disease.

Please fill out the form below.

Please note that these will be delivered towards the end of April / start of May.

Host a pop-up awareness event

The pop-up events could be held in a local pub, community centre, sports club, gym, work lobby, supermarket, church or event space in England and Wales.

We will provide you with a pop-up event pack which will include: Huntington's factsheets, banners, balloons, stickers, badges for the hosts, donation boxes and a t-shirt if required. We will also provide safe and legal guidance and photo consent forms.

We hope as many of you as possible can get involved, as it would be amazing to create a buzz across the country, in public, for this year's awareness month. Events will be shared on this page so that our community can attend any local to them.

Register your event

If using a venue or public space, you must have permission to host your event before registering.

If you cannot get a date in May but would still like to host an event, you can still take part and receive a pack.
