Participants needed for new research into the impact of HD on families

23 December 2011

I am interested in the psychological impact of Huntington's Disease on families. I will be conducting face-to-face interviews with parents and their adult children within families affected by HD in order to learn about the impact of HD on family relationships. I'm hoping that my findings will help to improve the support that families with HD get from services. I would like to talk to parent and child pairs from families who are at risk for HD and are living in England, Scotland or Wales. Unfortunately I can only interview people who are over the age of 18. If you are a member of an at risk family and if you are interested in taking part in this research, please contact me for further information. Or, if you are unable to take part but know of others who may be interested, please pass on my details. Further information and my contact details can be found on the Participant Information Sheet.
