We spoke to Anna about why she left a gift in Will for charity and how she found the process.

I used the charity Will writing service to help me write my first Will. It allowed me access to a panel of specialist lawyers, thus allowing choice.

Once I chose my solicitor, I was easily able to obtain an appointment and gain the advice needed around writing a Will and what to put in it. This meant that after my lifetime, my estate would be dealt with as per my wishes, removing any assumption. This is great peace of mind.

The added bonus was that we were all able to leave something from our estate to the Huntington's Disease Association.

The Huntington's Disease Association just sent me a certificate to enable me to present this to the solicitor, so they could be paid. My parents also used this service, making things more straightforward for us as their family, as we were able to ensure their wishes were executed.

This is important to us as the Huntington's Disease Association is an invaluable resource, that must exist long after my lifetime.
